Title: Box Post by alien2 on Oct 7th, 2018, 5:45am Albert had a birthday so he invited his closest friends, each of who was obligated to bring a present, otherwise he'd not let them in. He received nice presents, some of which were quite expensive. But then it was time for the last present that was presented by the last and closest friend. When he opened a wrapped box there was nothing inside. But he liked this present more than others for something that happened shortly after. Why? What happened? (Fill the missing fact.) |

Shouldn't this be in the "what happened" forum instead of the "what am i" forum? |

Title: Re: Box Post by alien2 on Oct 8th, 2018, 6:18am Nope. It was just an ordinary box. No intended answer as of yet. on 10/07/18 at 20:26:37, dudiobugtron wrote:
That is absolutely right. Grimbal, what are you waiting for?! |

Wait. First we have to establish whether I was waiting or not. Then whether I was waiting for something. Then only we can wonder what it is I was waiting for. Or maybe what for I am waiting. |

Title: Re: Box Post by alien2 on Oct 10th, 2018, 7:37am That is a fine line of reasoning. I'll "borrow" it for my upcoming epic fantasy. Okay? |

Title: Re: Box Post by alien2 on Oct 16th, 2018, 11:10am A hint: Animate. |

Title: Re: Box Post by Grimbal on Oct 17th, 2018, 7:23am He received a coffin. He organized a farewell birthday party after his doctor told him that he got a serious illness and would soon die. He thought it was very thoughtful of his friends. He hates receiving presents he has no use for. What happened shortly after? He died. |

No. But "the coffin" (as if that was a coffin) wasn't for him . . . |

Not quite [hide]"store"[/hide], but yes, you are definitely on the right track. |

Title: Re: Box Post by alien2 on Oct 23rd, 2018, 5:52am So, what was "stored" in the box then? |

Title: Re: Box Post by Vondell on Nov 5th, 2018, 5:15pm Albert had murdered his wife and put her body in the box. The empty box (no wife's body) was his friend's way of saying "it's taken care of...you don't have anything to worry about." |

Title: Re: Box Post by alien2 on Nov 6th, 2018, 4:28am It makes sense, but it is too morbid. The answer is a happy one. No dead people. Sorry. |

Title: Re: Box Post by alien2 on Dec 13th, 2018, 11:06am Surely you meant a food replicator. Magic is science we do not yet understand. I was thinking of a cat. A bit silly answer. |
