Title: Impossible Post by alien2 on May 2nd, 2017, 8:43am 1) I pulled a revolver with six real bullets in its cylinder on an outlaw with intend to kill him. I stood right in front of him and pressed gently the end of the barrel of the handgun right between his eyes and then even more gently pulled the trigger. Yet, the outlaw, who was sweeting and standing frozen by the greatest fear of his life, and that would be my gun pressed against his head, was still standing for an hour before he finally fell down and died. We were in an empty large room. How is THAT possible Brainiac’s?! 2) I was pointing my gun at a man I wanted to kill. The end of the barrel was pressed gently right between his eyebrows. Yet, when I pulled the trigger of this loaded handgun, I couldn’t see the man anymore, as if though he vanished. How’s THIS possible? This occurred at my place in the living room. Actually, none of this occurred, only in my imagination, and thank merciful God for that. |

Title: Re: Impossible Post by alien2 on May 2nd, 2017, 9:20am Your answer certainly holds water like glass does, yet, I am not so sure it applies to either of above riddles. In any case, it is not the intended answer. But keep thinking like that. Just forget 'bout TV for a second, will ya? Instead, think of another object, but only regarding one of the riddles, because no unmentioned objects have a role concerning one riddle. |

Title: Re: Impossible Post by alien2 on May 2nd, 2017, 3:46pm In my book, both of your answers are valid. However, they are not expected answers, that contain quite some twist, if I might add. |

Title: Re: Impossible Post by Grimbal on May 4th, 2017, 4:41am If it is a book, then the guy who was reading you stopped reading because it was time for dinner. What is the twist? That is the music that was playing. |

This is certainly plausible. I think. In fact, it is very similar to the expected answer where I [hide]did something else very slowly and then, well, pressed the trigger rather quickly.[/hide] |

Title: Re: Impossible Post by Grimbal on May 5th, 2017, 3:00am It was a snowman. But really, if you come to the point that you shoot a snowman in the head inside your living room, I think you should seek help. PS: or the man was literally frozen to death. PPS: is it a frost gun? |

Title: Re: Impossible Post by alien2 on May 5th, 2017, 3:15am Not at all what I had in mind. However, your answer is the answer to another riddle of mine that still remains unsolved. |

So, waste time no more, and tell a mountain, any will do, to move, - - - because Grimbal is coming through! |
