A man with 20/20 vision looks through twenty windows and sees his ex-wife through each of these windows. Yet that entire day she was in her small apartment that used to be their love nest back then when they were still married. If I tell you that David Copperfield has no role in the riddle, can you fill in the omitted parts and solve this very interesting riddle?

A hint: It was nighttime. This perhaps is not very important. However, it concerns a certain film..

[hide]He was in a building opposite, and through every window in that building he could see in to his ex-wife's apartment where she was watching TV with the light on. She wasn't watching David Copperfield though.[/hide]

That is an interesting idea and a bit disturbing too. 1st part of your guess is right. As per per[hide] looking through twenty windows in his building sounds real silly even impossible too me. His apartment is small as well.[/hide]

The man is [hide]looking through a kaleidoscope[/hide], in some strange alternate version of [hide]rear window[/hide].

Twenty windows were twenty windows. So no kaleidoscope, or fly, or Jeff Goldblum or whatnot.
