A witty answer. Not a smart one though. For thousands of years humans did not brush their teeth but that was a long time ago.

Because he hired someone to brush them.
Btw he hired another person to wipe his backside.
He seldom needs both people at the same time, but he hired 2 different people anyway for obvious hygienic reasons.

Well, that wouldn't apply to an "average" man I guess.

Then maybe he is experimenting with an alternate technology of teeth cleaning, like high pressure water jet. I don't know if that actually exists.
