Title: How did the prisoners escape? Post by danaz on Aug 12th, 2011, 4:14pm Two prisoners are stuck in a jail cell. There is an open window, too high for either of them to reach, even if they stand on each others' shoulders. The door that holds them in is locked with a padlock, and can't be broken. There is no way they can squeeze through the bars. Inside their cell, they have a piece of paper, a pencil, a phone book, and a local newspaper. The key to the lock is safely hidden away in an office in the building - there is no way they can get this key. They escape from the jail cell at 3 AM in the morning, without any of the other prisoners knowing. How do they escape? This is a riddle that someone posted on my site (http://www.satpeer.com). Credits to Peanuts. I do know the answer though. |

Title: Re: How did the prisoners escape? Post by Grimbal on Aug 12th, 2011, 4:49pm They are werewolves. At 3AM the moon shines thru the window and they become wolves. They now fit between the bars. Or maybe there was a 3rd guy who managed to get away unseen from whatever they did that put them in prison. He enrolled as a guardian at the prison and was assigned the very office in the said building where the key was stored. |
