Title: Thinner: the Curse of Monkey Island Post by alien2 on Jul 13th, 2010, 1:40pm A man with stamina wakes up on a barren island, clueless about how he got there. The island is made out of stone. The only stones he can move are pebbles. Being thirsty he approaches the rapids that surround the island. After refreshing himself, he realizes that if he jumps, the river would kill him for sure. There is no bridge so he cannot cross the river. There are no creatures he could catch in the rapids. But near his island, upstream the river is another island. On this island there are one monkey and banana trees. Nobody ventures into these parts except helicopter service, but it will fly over the barren island in low altitude in 75 days. The man throws a few pebbles in the river thinking about his situation. How could he survive? |

Title: Re: Thinner: the Curse of Monkey Island Post by JiNbOtAk on Jul 13th, 2010, 5:28pm Is this from Monkey Island ? Don't seem to remember it..anyway, off the top of my head.. 1) use the stones to make a bridge. 2) use the stones to dam up the river. 3) learn the monkey language, convince the monkey to make a bridge with fallen banana trees. Note : I didn't bother to hide any of these, since they are almost confirmed to be wrong. Just wanted to post something, after the long downtime. ;D |

Title: Re: Thinner: the Curse of Monkey Island Post by Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on Jul 14th, 2010, 2:00pm [hide]Monkey see, monkey do, maybe? He could throw the stones at the monkey in hopes that the monkey would throw a common object, a banana, back at him. Even if the monkey is short with his throw, the bananas may reach the man.
