A boy and a girl are talking.

"I am a boy" - said the child with black hair.

"I am a girl" - said the child with white hair.

At least one of them lied. Who is the boy and who is the girl?

Any chance they pull a 666 Satan (it's a japanese comic) and one of them has dual colored hair?

Or it's the [hide]one with white hair, since if they're old enough to have white hair, then they're not really qualified to be a girl. More of a woman. Though then I guess there can't be a boy and a girl talking[/hide]

It's not possible that exactly one of them is lying, because that would mean that either both are boys or both are girls. This implies that both are lying.

[hideb]If exactly one of the children is lying then they would both be the same gender (black hair telling the truth about being a boy while white hair lies about being a girl, or vice versa). Since it's given that a boy and a girl are talking, we can only conclude both are lying.

The girl has black hair.
The boy needs to see a doctor.

Both children should seek counseling to deal with their lying habits.[/hideb]

[hideb]I would tend to agree that since 'at least' one of them lied, they both must have lied

Of course, there's technically nothing stopping the boy and girl who are talking from being different to the boy/girl with the black/white hair, so it's very possible that the talking boy/girl lied about what they had to eat today - thus everyone claiming to be of a certain gender can stay that gender

(Wow that was a long winded way of saying that :P)[/hideb]
