Title: Re: Baseball math Post by cchris on Jul 25th, 2009, 6:22pm That seems like the biggest possibility, since [hide]he only faced 27 batters. [/hide] That, or [hide]it's something to do with the rules of baseball, and the batters got a "walk" or whatever it is, and stole bases to win.[/hide] |

Title: Re: Baseball math Post by victorpride on Mar 2nd, 2010, 1:26pm There is another obvious possibility that doesn't require extra innings. He came in as relief after the starter gave up 4 runs and got no outs. if he struck out every batter he faced, then he didn't walk anyone. |
