so one afternoon a wife calls her husband from work, all seems normal untill she starts screaming about earhquakes and strange creatures lunging towards her and snakes and then she's screaming about the building falling down. then she's hung up and the husband has no choice but to go to her work and see what happened he gets there and the buildings fine, no trace of monsters or snakes and his wife is on the foor dead, having shoved a knife into a light socket. what happened?

Sigh. Harry always told his wife to stop taking the damn hallucinogens. But she didn't listen. No, she didn't listen. And this is what happens. THIS WHAT HAPPENS!!! I thought I told you Marie!!!

*ahem*.... Anyhoo...

Oh or maybe she's watching a movie and then something wrong happened with the socket, and she tried to fix it, and ended up electrocuting herself.

Or it was a 4D movie that was just too real

What do you mean, what happened? Just read between the lines.

There were earthquakes, strange creatures lunging towards people, and snakes, and the building fell down.
Then the building was repaired and the wife got killed by a mad light socket.

Or maybe she was suicidal with a strange sense of humor.

His wife is an actress. And he just happened go enter the set when she kills herself in scene 43: idiot woman thought light socket was enemy

She was playing those video games where you put the mask in front of your eyes and they show you the video game world. Of course, they decided to make the light socket the pig monster of level 27.

They were sued. by many people

She was watching a movie and dozed off. She starts to dial her husband's number in her sleep. Upon hearing his voice, she was jerked awake. The scene from the movie is way to scary for her half awake mind. She can't turn off the tv, she's to scared to get near it. The only way is to short circuit and cut off the power, and she managed it by sticking a knife into the socket. She should have chosen one with a wooden handle though..

Well any one of them could easily be right, they just aren't the one you have got, but I agree with Grimbal, the building was obviously repaired and she died from the light socket, duh.

He was ignoring her lately asking for divorce and such so maybe she wanted to get her husbands attention so she said all that to make him come over to her.
Then she thought of electrifying her self a bit for him to get there and find her wounded and take care of her...

Maybe during her wild hallucination for w/e reason she attempted to stab one of those "creatures" that were lunging at her but in reality she stabbed the socket.
