Tom and Bill enter an empty room and Tom closes the door. So here they are, staring at each other, about to settle their score. There are no weapons at their disposal, and Tom is a lot weaker fighter because Bill knows karate well. But Tom defeats Bill w/o leaving this room. What was Tom’s advantage? Mind you, it wasn't luck.

[hide]Tom hits the lights.  Having worn an eye patch on one eye, he can immediately see in the darkness.  Bill's eyes take time to adjust.  Before he can see properly Tom pummels him into submission.[/hide]

You pretty much got it. Tom [hide]had goggles for night vision[/hide].

Tom is a cat.  Bill is a mouse.  Karate is Tom's girlfriend, so Tom is really mad at Bill.
