Title: dead man in forest riddle!!
Post by Carnie_ville on Apr 24th, 2008, 7:05pm

There was a man in the middle of the forest dead. He was sitting perfectly in a chair and his body didn't have any major injuries except for a few scratches and bruises. He wasn't murdered and he didn't kill himself. How did he die?

Old age seems like an option.

It could be a statue.  A statue isn't alive.  Does it mean it is dead?

He didn’t die. 'Dead' is the name of the forest.

Or he was allergic to mushrooms and chair.

It appears that you’ve mentioned scratches and bruises for a reason, thus we must find the cause of these injuries. Was it a cat?

Perhaps scratches were self inflicted.

Or he was dying form an incurable disease. He always wanted to die in a forest sitting on a chair.

Or he was a pilot and he ejected his seat.
