Timothy’s father passed away. He specified in the will that if Timothy guesses correctly the password for his safe, he’ll get most of his wealth. He has only one chance to open the safe, as he’ll be supervised by the lawyer when he decides to give it a shot. There is the clue for the safe combination, his father’s note below.




Timothy. If you’re reading this note, it means
that the end has come for me. I am on my way
to another home, hopefully heaven. The safe
combination has just three numbers, but you
have only one shot at it. Remember how I
always gave a dollar to the beggar? Perhaps
that will guide you in the right direction and
salvation. And if you read carefully, you may
notice a few striking resemblances. Goodbye.

3- Three numbers in the password.
1- One shot at the password

I chose this according to the first 3 sets of double letters used in letter. This is what they look like in order.

I would go with gotit's answer of [hide]111, because the only two numbers actually mentioned are 3 and 1 (a dollar means one dollar, but the number one was not actually mentioned). Thus, 3 ones makes 111.[/hide]

The answer is perhaps a bit silly. You can actually see it [hide]in front of you when you're, for instance, here on Wu . But the forum itself isn't important for the solution. Look for the answer somewhere else.[/hide]

Do you mean to say that the answer is visible on the computer screen? In that case, the first thing that comes to mind is the [hide]time[/hide]. But I guess that it cannot be the password because it keeps on changing.
