Title: Resurrection
Post by Iceman on Mar 31st, 2008, 5:05am

Miranda’s husband was missing, and his body is finally found after being dead for decades. She recognizes him, even though his body is lying naked on the table and forensics wasn’t involved yet. How then?

[hide]A particular locket or ring that he used to wear was still on his body.[/hide]

No. There were no objects on the body.

[hide]Her husband had six fingers on both hands[/hide]

Nice try, but it is plausible that someone else had six fingers as well.

Did he have a normal body? What i mean to ask is, was there any deformity in his body which helped Miranda recognize him?

He saw his body naked and on this point, nobody could compete Miranda's husband.

Or maybe [hide] He was missing in a glacier.  Now, thanks to all these people who burn coal and fuel as if there was no tomorrow, the temperature raises and the glacier melted. [/hide].

Miranda was a dog. She recognized her husband by his smell. ;)

Was there only bones left or full body with flesh and skin?

If only bones: [hide]the location of titanium pins and/or artificial joints used in the many surgeries is a dead giveaway[/hide]

If full fleshed body: [hide]she recognises that face anywhere (provided he has no twin)[/hide]

Miranda and her husband are robots.

or

Miranda is the one who killed him, and she knows exactly how she did it, which part of her husband she cut off with what tool.

Anyway,

Tattoo(s) ?

Birthmark ?

Scars ?

Question Icey, would Miranda recognizes her husband if he was fully clothed ?

Fine ideas, but Grimbal’s hidden answer is the winner. Sometimes [hide]my nick[/hide] is the clue.   ::)

He was naked and trapped in a glacier ? What was he trying to do, become the mascot for Ice Age 3 ?

Perhaps he was making himself warm with his mistress in the tent before the avalanche. So when he heard it coming down, he ran like a bat out of hell, leaving her behind in the tent. And I thought that doctors take your clothes off when a body is on the above table. Whatever.

Btw, no need to be always 100% literal, and poetic license can be a part of masterpiece.  8)  ::)
