Title: The Fugitive 2
Post by Iceman on Mar 29th, 2008, 1:25pm
Richard is being chased by two detectives, who are in better physical condition than he is. Unlike them, he’s unarmed, and currently in the bathroom on the 1st floor of an empty house he just broke into. He locked the door, and so detectives are trying to get into the small bathroom by hitting the doors.

Only usual bathroom objects are inside it, like the hair drier, or towels. There is also a window, and one could jump w/o damaging himself; but then there is only one way leading to the beach, and there’s no way out of there. Speaking of the above way, it is like so because of a peculiar location of the house and the high fence connected to the wall. Regardless, Richard manages to elude the detectives, but not by overpowering them. How then?

He ties a couple of towels together, then opens the window (loudly so the detectives get the idea what he is doing). He then hangs the towels out the window but instead of going out he goes into the tub and closes the tub curtain.

The detectives, after breaking the door open, will see the open window and towels and imediately jump out the window after his false trail.

.........and Denis wins again! :o

Btw, regarding solving my riddles, it was fun 1st hundred times, but now it’s getting a bit scary. Well, perhaps just a bit, but I can only assume that you have no life whatsoever, just like I. And don’t get me wrong, for I like the fact that you’re interested in riddles, particularly mine. I just wonder how much the dynamic duo will last, that’s all, because nothing lasts forever. Later. ::)  :P

One starts suspecting that denis and Icey is in fact the same person, who logged in using different ID's to confuse the riddlers here.  :P

If that were the case, surely Ice would have been able to  solve a few of my riddles but he hasn't yet!
As it turns out Grimby solves most of my riddles. Hmmm. Thats a Thought... Grimbal/Denis/Iceman all the same person..... Naaaaa!

(I suspect IP addresses of posters are logged here. These are used to enforce bans on most message boards. It would be a simple matter to confirm the location of our IP providers using a WHOIS on the logged IP of both Ice and my account.). But only a moderator would be able to do this.

You do realize I'm joking, eh denis ?

( Although since you again managed to answer Icey's riddle, even when you are on a break, is surreal, for Icey at least )

Yes...I realized. Although I gave the explanation for the benefit of others who might think one person is posting under different nicks, which often happens on message boards.

Regarding the break, I guess its hard to break from tradition (or addiction).  ;)

And it's especially hard to leave in the middle of the Friend 2 riddle after I figure out what your second hint meant. But now that Aryabhatta seems to have the answer, I can leave for a few days at least.
