Well, by looking at the Title I'm going to assume for b) "Top Gun". But you never know ::)... Sameer explained the answers pretty much, or at least a source where you can get them ;).

If my memory serve me right, when Maverick went down, he was behind Viper, not Iceman. So, maybe this came from another movie ? ( Hot Shots, Meet the Parents, etc )

No, Mav and Ice were both pursuing Viper, jockeying for the kill.  Ice gave up and pulled off, and Mav, behind him, flew through his jet wash, causing an unrecoverable flat spin.  (Why yes, I have seen it a few too many times. ;))

Well, that's kinda my point. Ice pulled off, leaving Mav behind Viper. But hey, maybe Icey or WTF could clarify.  :P

I find that hard to believe. I'm a quitter now too, and not just plumberry? Perhaps I've caused the unrecoverable flat spin on purpose. I like Maverick, but I like 1st place as well. There are no points for 2nd place. 8)

I know all but the 1 about the director, which I can check anytime because I have the DVD at home. I want to see if you know.





BTW, how many posts do you need to rise up a rank? In other words, how much longer will I be stuck with the "newbie" rank?

I think we can safely assume that most ( if not all ) of the members here had seen topgun at one point in their life. I'm quite surprised that Hollywood didn't came out with a sequel yet.

Hmmmm... answer the what?  ::) Dear, don't get upset but Top Gun was at one point a very popular movie... pretty much everyone here knows the answers or at least most of them.
