Tom is driving in his car when he sees his cousin Timothy, and he picks him up. They stop near a bar and part, as Tom goes in, while Timothy goes the other way. Timothy is allergic to bananas, but soon he enters the store and buys a few. Having in mind that all mentioned in the riddle is important, what happened?

They stopped at a bar Tom frequents. Tom has a long-standing friendship with the bartender and, though the bar does not usually serve a banana-flavored drink, he will make one for Tom if he brings his own bananas.

Obviously Timmy is not going to eat the bananas. Rather than guess the scenario, I'll try to guess the film you got this from: [hide]Beverly Hills Cops[/hide]

Although, if he is truly allergic to bananas, why didn't he ask for a cucumber or a carrot ? Either one is suited for the job at hand.

The scenario: [hide]Timothy stuffs the banana in the opening of the tailpipe of Tom's parked car thus blocking the exhaust and preventing the car from starting[/hide] when Tom returns later. (wether or not this really works is another question).

Not even vaguely. Hidden to avoid spoiling the riddle:

[hide]in a well-functioning gasoline engine, simply turning the engine over with the starter motor creates pressures well over 100psi in the cylinders. That means in order to stall the motor the pressure in the entire exhaust system would have to be still greater. In a 2" tail pipe, 100psi would amount to over 300 pounds of force pushing the banana out of the pipe -- easily enough to turn it to mush.

Even if Timothy welded the tail-pipe shut, the exhaust system isn't designed to contain anywhere near 100psi and would quickly burst somewhere, relieving the pressure and allowing the engine to start normally.[/hide]

If that were true Iceman, you would have made up your quizzes, you specifically state in your rules, that it is not your idea. So you don't seem to be very inventive to me.

I just got my career profile results back, and it seems that i am not creative, so i wont say anymore.
