Title: Framed II Post by denis on Jul 6th, 2007, 11:46am After his prison sentence is finished, John is without job and needs money. He walks into a local Walmart store and gets a pair of regular latex gloves. Then he drives to his mother’s house while she is out and steals the gun she uses for protection. He put on the gloves before going into his mother’s place so as to leave no trace that he was there and leave no prints on the gun. Nobody saw him there and there were no security cameras. John then checks to see if the gun is loaded (still wearing the gloves all the while). The gun is fully loaded. John then proceeds to his father’s place (his mother and father are divorced and live at separate locations) and shoots him with his mother’s gun while still wearing the gloves. He leaves the gun next to his victim and then as soon as he is out the door, discards the gloves in the bushes. Since the gun leaves powder burns on the gloves when discharged, he does not want to be linked to the gun if he is caught with the gloves. No one saw him and there were no security cameras. Now it turns out that John’s mother was seen at her ex’s earlier the same day. Because of this, she would be a prime suspect for two pieces of circumstancial evidence: The gun registered in her name and the fact that she was placed at the scene earlier by witnesses. Because it will look like his mother killed her ex-husband, she will not inherit his money if she is convicted but John will inherit instead as he is next in line. Three or four days pass, while John keeps a low profile. He attends his father's funeral while police are still working on the case. Of course, they questioned his mother, they questionned also all relatives including John. John made sure to say nothing that would incriminate him. Then, without even issuing a search warrant, the police knock on John's door with an arrest warrant for the murder of his father. What evidence did they have against John? |

Title: Re: Framed II Post by SMQ on Jul 6th, 2007, 12:09pm Obviously I've spent too much time thinking about what could go wrong with attempting to frame one family member for the firearm-death of another. ;D --SMQ |

Title: Re: Framed II Post by sxiz on Aug 9th, 2007, 7:14am Multiple layers of gloves would solve that. |
