Title: Astronomer Post by hiyathere on Jan 6th, 2007, 10:32am Mine is similar to Locke's "slow change" riddle. We were originally going to do one riddle together, but then he posted his version, so I'll post my version. An astronomer started his first day at an observatory. Before he started, the janitor showed him around. However, when he arrived that night, he forgot the password to the observatory, and there is no other way in. [_ _ _ _ _] password [hide]look up[/hide] password hint |

Title: Re: Astronomer Post by Locke64 on Jan 6th, 2007, 10:33am Wow. This is completely different than the one that you showed me. I'll have to guess the obvious [hide]stars[/hide] or [hide]space[/hide]. lol 2-day JM! :) |

BTW, I don't think 'look up' should've been the first clue, as that doesn't allow people to make any progress whatsoever. You have to use the other one to lead them on the right track. |

We don't even know what the answer to the riddle is, so we can't determine whether or not the clue was relevant. |

Title: Re: Astronomer Post by raven on Jan 6th, 2007, 4:13pm Here is a thought, if I go to work at night, and standing before the entrance I'm told to "Look Up", I will most likely only see the bright security spotlight shining down on the door... so with this in mind: LIGHT ::) ...alternatively, if my pupils are dilated and I don't have on my shades, I will probably see: SPOTS 8) ;D |

My password hint wasn't good enough, so you guys are probably going to have to rely on the hints that I give out. |
