Title: Musical Inspiration Post by Sameer on Dec 8th, 2006, 7:02pm This one is easy. A musical composer was trying to compose a musical piece the whole day in vain. Disappointed he looks out of his window for inspiration and sees something that instantly gives him what he is looking for. What did he see? |

Title: Re: Musical Inspiration Post by Sameer on Dec 8th, 2006, 7:38pm Technically yes he could have seen anything.. but in this case something very specific that gives him the tune that he is trying to compose... |

Title: Re: Musical Inspiration Post by grungy on Dec 8th, 2006, 11:55pm I've heard this one before - [hide]he saw a crow on the powerlines, which represented music lines. The crow moved around, and his inspiration was it was playing notes - or something along those lines.[/hide] |

Title: Re: Musical Inspiration Post by TheNumberScott on Dec 9th, 2006, 10:58am You know what I don't like about the hide boxes? I just can't resist looking at what they say. Even though I really wanted to try to figure it out myself because I write music, once the answer is given by one person, hide box or no, the riddle is over. Because a) I'm going to look at the hide box, and b) the poster isn't going to want to answer a million sets of questions for everybody even after the answer's been posted. |

Title: Re: Musical Inspiration Post by Sameer on Dec 9th, 2006, 12:08pm Well that's just a personal choice... which is why most people try to give hints rather than answers... this one is too easy to give hints... |

Piano. I too wrote mostly Classic, or something like that, resembling it, about nine years ago. I wrote only pieces for piano beginners. Nice pieces though, but representing just exercises for the beginners. Then I stopped writing all together, and now I write riddles. You cannot publish riddles since they are not art. My advice regarding composing: if you are 99 years old, quit composing all together if you can remember what composing is. |
