Title: Sticker Post by Iceman on Nov 17th, 2006, 3:39pm Tim is a locksmith and he gives a sticker with a key on it to his son Benny. In a spacious living room, Benny tells him that he would like a mountain bike for his upcoming birthday. Tim says: 'Without using any other substance that looks like a key, how could you see a key on all of these four walls, and in two consecutive seconds? If you answer correctly, I will buy you this bike for sure.' Can Benny get the bike? |

Title: Re: Sticker Post by TheNumberScott on Nov 17th, 2006, 5:55pm [hide]put a mirror on each wall[/hide]? |

Title: Re: Sticker Post by cchris on Nov 17th, 2006, 6:50pm Yeah, I'd say [hide]have a mirror on each wall.[/hide] |
||||
Title: Re: Sticker Post by Iceman on Nov 18th, 2006, 4:43am Certainly plausible, but I hadn't that in mind, and since we prefer challenging riddles, I say that he mustn't use mirrors either. ;) Somehow mirrors slipped my mind after the Dizziness riddle. :-[ |

Title: Re: Sticker Post by sofeffi on Nov 18th, 2006, 5:36am Maybe he meant key as in passcode? or key as in the key to a map? [hide]I say use blu-tack[/hide] |

Title: Re: Sticker Post by Bamaboys on Nov 18th, 2006, 7:22am [hideb] Maybe he could stick the key on the front end of a flashlight. When he turns it on, there will be a shadow of a key on the walls. [/hideb] |
||||
Title: Re: Sticker Post by cchris on Nov 18th, 2006, 9:23am I do like that idea, as I was suggesting something like [hide]holding the key up and turning himself around the room, but the flashlight idea covers that[/hide]. |

Title: Re: Sticker Post by TheNumberScott on Nov 18th, 2006, 5:24pm If you could clear up one thing for me, is it a key with a sticker on it, or a sticker with a picture of a key on it? |

Title: Re: Sticker Post by Grimbal on Nov 19th, 2006, 2:07pm If you have seen Matrix, you'll know that a locksmith's appartment's walls are covered with keys anyway. So where is the problem? I also don't know this key and sticker thing. |
