Title: Sticker
Post by Iceman on Nov 17th, 2006, 3:39pm
Tim is a locksmith and he gives a sticker with a key on it to his son Benny. In a spacious living room, Benny tells him that he would like a mountain bike for his upcoming birthday. Tim says: 'Without using any other substance that looks like a key, how could you see a key on all of these four walls, and in two consecutive seconds? If you answer correctly, I will buy you this bike for sure.' Can Benny get the bike?

Yeah, I'd say [hide]have a mirror on each wall.[/hide]

Certainly plausible, but I hadn't that in mind, and since we prefer challenging riddles, I say that he mustn't use mirrors either.  ;) Somehow mirrors slipped my mind after the Dizziness riddle.  :-[

Maybe he meant key as in passcode? or key as in the key to a map? [hide]I say use blu-tack[/hide]

[hideb]  Maybe he could stick the key on the front end of a flashlight. When he turns it on, there will be a shadow of a key on the walls.  [/hideb]

I do like that idea, as I was suggesting something like [hide]holding the key up and turning himself around the room, but the flashlight idea covers that[/hide].

If you could clear up one thing for me, is it a key with a sticker on it, or a sticker with a picture of a key on it?

If you have seen Matrix, you'll know that a locksmith's appartment's walls are covered with keys anyway.  So where is the problem?

I also don't know this key and sticker thing.

You attack the Grimbal.  The Uberpuzzler effortlessly deflects your feeble thrust with a mere wave of the hand.  The Grimbal now appears slightly annoyed.

P.S. Woo Hoo @ bama!

It appears Icecalibur has more power than he claims, and easily demoted the once-Uberpuzzler.

Who knows; it might be due to an accident at a nuclear plant, or maybe exposure to kryptonite. Perhaps he was zapped by cosmic rays, or he was bitten by a radioctive newbie. On the other hand it might be a mutation, or some occult ritual involving a rubber chicken.
The important thing is, will he use his newfound powers for good or evil?

I cast a spell of puzzlement.
It is a difficult spell that only Uberpuzzlers can master.

Don't worry, I wasn't accusing you of veganism ;)
But real chickens get so messy in a sacrifice.
