Title: Deadly Door
Post by gigbox_69 on Nov 7th, 2005, 8:21pm
A man walks into a cabin, goes to the back and sits down. 20 minutes later he goes back to the front of the cabin, opens the door, and dies. What happened?

[hide]Well, if he will attempt a space-walk without a space-suit 20 minutes into the mission - probably more than enough time to get into orbit - then he deserves everything he gets for such stupidity[/hide]

Just a guess
[hide]He is being chased and he is hiding. He checks if the person or thing is still chasing him, and gets killed[/hide]
This is only if three hands didn't get the right answer

The guy died.  But instead of taking the tunnel to the white light, he took the elevator down to hell.

Doesn't that need the guy to already be dead on going into the room, Grimbal? I suppose it depends on whether you only count as dead once you reach the destination, or whether death occurs before that.

Of course, the guy's death could be completely unrelated to the circumstances leading up to it - heart attack, stroke, or similar fatal natural occurrence...

The "tunnel and white light" vision is called "near-death experience".  So I'd assume the person actually dies on arrival.

OOOOOOOO [hideb]He's on a plane cabin!!  And so when he boards he stays and then 20 minutes later when the plane is in the air and he leaves he dies.[/hideb]

Either
[hide]It's a pressurisation chamber.  Over 20 minutes, the pressure is gradually built up.  Perhaps this is done by his enemy without the guy realising  (although he would feel some effects, he may not put two and two together if he did not know the cabin's properties).

When he goes to open the door, the suddne pressure change gives him the Bends and kills him[/hide]

Or
[hide]It is a diving bell.  When he opens the door after the 20 minute dive, he drowns[/hide]

Oh yay!  Just so happens that today I learned that where we sit on the plane are also called cabins... wow that's so uncanny.  :o haha

Hey william, I see you're new here.  I'm not trying to scare you away, but if you take a look at the topics you've been posting under recently, you'll notice most of them have been dead for over a year.  You might have more success (and probably fun) posting in a topic where there is a more active discussion.  :o

Just a bit of friendly advice.  ;)

do you even realise that cristal did that over a year ago, as a guest, and will probably never read what you just wrote? And, that you contributed nothing to this at all?

If you're gonna bump something from a long time ago that nobody cares about, you'd better make it really good.

WTF got to it first, and perhaps a little nicer. He has more self control than I do.
