Title: Last whish Post by alien on Sep 1st, 2005, 1:23pm Mark's father was on his deathbed. He calls his sons to him and says: "Put at least 100$ in my coffin, each of you." He dies. Mark's two brothers put in 100$ each. Mark, being stingy, takes out 200$ from the coffin, but he didn't dishonored his father's last whish. Explain. This is not my riddle. :P |

Title: Re: Last whish Post by Grimbal on Sep 10th, 2005, 12:53pm I knew it like this: [hide] The 1st son puts a $100 note in the coffin. The 2nd son, a little smarter, writes a cheque for $100 and puts it in the coffin. The 3rd son, the smartest, writes a cheque for $300, puts it in the coffin and takes back the $100 note and the $100 cheque. [/hide] |
