Title: Problems with save password Post by pscoe2 on Jan 17th, 2010, 8:12am The save password saves password but not the username in my pc :P Technically it is precise but actually it is a little weird to write the username everytime i want to access the site...whereas password is automatically filled.. |

Title: Re: Problems with save password Post by towr on Jan 17th, 2010, 10:18am Isn't that an issue with your browser? The only option the forum gives is to stay logged in, but it doesn't do that by filling in your username and password. (Which isn't to say there aren't people who've had problem with that feature, but it doesn't seem to be what troubles you.) What browser are you using? |

Title: Re: Problems with save password Post by Grimbal on Jan 17th, 2010, 2:19pm It could be you saved 2 user names for that page. It cannot tell in advance which one you want to use. It also could be that you asked your browser not to autocomplete for this web site, or not at all. |

Title: Re: Problems with save password Post by towr on Jan 19th, 2010, 2:31am Auto-login does not work if your ip-number changes. I don't know if that may be the case with you? You could try to see under tools/options/security/saved passwords if firefox has any entry there for this site (or multiple ones as Grimbal said), and then delete it to see if that clears up the problem with automatically filling in the password. Aside from that I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. |

Title: Re: Problems with save password Post by JohanC on Jan 20th, 2010, 2:47am For some strange reason, Firefox considers the "minutes to login" (default: 180) as the username. So, it saves "180" together with the password in the saved passwords ... |
