How about a section for new puzzles, instead of people needing to clasify it to easy, medium or hard?

i like the idea. however, eventually the new puzzles will become classified and/or no longer new. when this happens, threads on the new puzzles board will have to be manually moved to sections of appropriate difficulty. this could take up a lot of administrative time and also result in many duplicate threads (one thread in the new puzzle board, same thread in the board corresponding to its difficulty). so i'm not sure how to handle this ....

That's true, Will, it will require some thought. On your part. ;)

BTW, another thread related q: can you make it so that the notification e-mails tell you first what thread is being posted to, then the title? I sometimes get msgs that I'm not sure whether to read immediately or not bc I can't tell what thread is being posted to -- this is in the cases where someone types in a new subject heading.

Oh, and why don't "positions" get filled in for anyone other than you in the member listings?
