Design an oven for a guy in a wheelchair.

Why would the wheelchaired need a special oven?
Or are we supposed to bake the guy in the wheelchair?

:)

Most ovens I've seen have doors which open downward. When the door is completely open, the wheelchaired person might have some difficulty inserting his cookie pan, because the opened door obstructs his wheels from being in front of the oven. He could insert the pan from the side, but this might require a one-handed insertion if the guy is unable to arch his back sufficiently. A more friendly oven design could have a door that slides open sideways. Also, the control knobs could be placed at a sitting person's height. (I am assuming the wheelchaired person can still use his hands and arms.)

I'd just buy a combination convection/microwave oven.. those have doors that simply open to the side, and you can pretty much put them anywhere..

I don't see what we're doing putting a guy in a wheelchair into an oven!
