Title: f(x)
Post by codpro880 on Jan 23rd, 2009, 12:59pm
Let f(x) be a function such that f(x)+f(1/1-x)=x for all x
not equal to 0 or 1.

What is the value of f(2)?

[hide]
f(-1)+f(1/2)=-1
f(2)+f(-1)=2
f(1/2)+f(2)=1/2
Solving gives f(2)=7/4[/hide]

In general f(x)=[hide](-x3 + x - 1)/(-2x2 + 2x)[/hide]
