Title: Duck In Pond Post by twitceh on Feb 20th, 2007, 5:23pm A duck is in a circular pond with a menacing cat outside. The cat runs four times as fast as the duck can swim, but cannot enter the water. Can the duck get to the perimeter of the pond without the cat being on top of him? Does anyone have any conclusive solutions for this? Sorry edited. |

True. But unlike in the riddle the ducks are 3D animals [hide](moving 3D, i.e. can fly)[/hide], so they are still safe and cats still must catch mice if they want to eat. |
