Title: Re: World Chess Championship Post by ThudanBlunder on May 18th, 2010, 9:03pm I find this (http://www.chesscafe.com/Tim/kibb.htm) rather interesting. (This (http://chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=6340) too. The claim of a mate-in-1942 must be a bug, as there are too few pieces on the board. This begs the question: given that the 50-move rule is always invoked when possible, what is the longest possible game of chess?) Of course, this trick is not new (http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=1610). |
