DropZap is a new kind of block elimination game.

I think "new kind" is overstretching it a bit. I've seen very similar games before.

Which ones?

Ones not memorable enough to remember the names of.
For example, I played two versions of a a flash game that were like this, excepts for the 'blocks' not dropping to the bottom row. So this is only a minor variation to that.

If you can describe the gameplay, I can try to find the flash games that you describe.

I don't recall the names either, but I know the kind of games towr's talking about, with a very similar concept of gameplay.

I've removed the level limit from the web version (unless you access it from an iPhone/iPod touch).

No, not Chain Facor, but I suppose it's not important. If a game wasn't made because a similar one already existed, just about every shovelware title would be done, and I wouldn't be able to play Splume.

Though the thought of all Crayon Physics clones dying out is a tempting one…

Anyway, with no level limit, I suppose it can actually be enjoyed, so there's that.
