Numbrosia has been shut down.  But at least you can play an original real-time puzzle game when you visit the site:

It now just uses the mouse.  There are also now black squares that are removed in a different way.

not bad. reminiscent of a MS game "Red Square"

for what it's worth, I found the mouse a bit ... sticky- didn't always let go when I wanted it to.

I thought it might be even more interesting to try and make squares.  ?

Which browser are you using?  Have you tried it recently?

IE 7.
Possibly the mouse, but didn't seem to be.

if only. Stuck with IE at work. Can't change it either. Was hard enough to get permission to play here
