Hey guys,

I've created this URL riddle game. there are 20 levels. This is a game where you have to solve a riddle on each page, which will lead you to the next riddle. The answer to each riddle is the address to the next riddle. I worked really hard on this, and would love it if you all gave it a try and give me some feedback.

Also I'd love it if you could spread the word, and post this post on any appropriate forums that you happen to visit.

4000 people have played it since it was launched 36 hours ago.

I tried clint, eastwood, clinteastwood, dirty, harry, dirtyharry. But it's not that.

So I lost interest. :(

I don't think it's a big loss if I don't know what monkeybum had in mind.

monkeybum, I start to see a number of riddle pages like yours. Some, like yours, have a google search link at the bottom. I wondered what is the point. But if I use it to search, say, "test", the URL says something like:
http://www.google.com/cse?cx=partner-pub-4205442129868787%3Autf70t-xmle&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=test&sa=Search
I am a bit suspicious about the "cx=partner-pub-4205442129868787%3Autf70t-xmle". Do you get any money for the searches we do using this page?

And do you plan to come back to this forum, or did you just post and run?

Hey,

We do make some money if people search off the google box on the webpage (actually they have to click on one of the results for us to make money) but it isn't significant. You can't make any real amount of money of the ads or the search boxes on pages like these.

As for the forum. I've bookmarked it, and have read quite a lot here. Since i'm planning to make another game soon this page is a goldmine to find inspiration, Plus I just really like riddles!.

It is just that I googled it and saw you made an identical post in a few other places. That with the fact that it was your only post here made it a bit suspicious.

I've posted an identical message in quite a few forums :)

I did however spend at least an hour here looking at the riddles, so I figure it's a fair bet I'll be a regular. (shhh don't tell my wife)

Actually, I just Tried It out, seems good, but I'm ony at level 3 now. I like te fact it's not extremely dark, because those things scare me. (sucks thumb). I need to find some other games like this to kill time.

LOL I accidently skipped level four. I though the answer to three was "water" because all the places have water...and I jumped to level five lmao....

stuck on 14.....
