Title: Heteronymous and Homonymous Ambiguities

Definitions:

Two words are heteronyms if they are spelled the same but differ in pronunciation.
Two words are homonyms if they are spelled or pronounced the same but have different meanings.

Challenge:

Create inventive/amusing examples of sentences which make use of heteronyms/homonyms to generate ambiguity.

It might help to indicate if we are looking at an example of a homonym/heteronym and to which word in the sentence it corresponds with.

Examples:

(heteronymous)
(i) I am aching all over after rowing with my wife.
(ii) I received a surprisingly large number of calls, including the local Catholic Church, after placing a small advert in the local paper to sell a rather old painting of Mary that had two small tears below the eyes.

(homonymous)
(i) The boy scouts learned the true meaning of camp leader when he showed them his collection of bows.
(i) The teacher explained sarcastically to the student caught talking, "It is not customary in an aural test to demonstrate your oral skills."
