I am new here and I already enjoy seeing the nice
interaction with problems.

But, there are so many problems (topics) that I
find it difficult to sort through them to find interesting
probability and stat problems because generally, as I see, the
topic titles
are often really different from the problems(naturally).

Lets goes some probabilty problems (level open, I teach it
and would like to make a thread here for reference).

You can safely search (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=riddles_general;action=search)on 'dice', and probably 'balls', to get a small number of probability puzzles.

I'll see if I can dig up some other interesting threads later..
