Two players alternately pick numbers without replacement from the set 1,2,3...9. The first player to obtain three numbers that sum to 15 wins. What is your strategy?

No strategy can guarantee a win for either player.
But 1st player can win if numbers are chosen from {1,2,3,...27}, with 42 being the winning total. ;)
