Title: office north, factory south Post by BenVitale on Jun 29th, 2009, 3:47pm A man has an office north of his home and a factory south of his home. Every day he goes to the train platform at completely random, different times. There is a train going north, stopping on one side of the platform, every ten minutes. There is a train going south, stopping on the other side of the same platform, every ten minutes. He always takes the first train that comes along after his arrival on the platform. Nine days out of ten he goes to his office. Why? |

Title: Re: office north, factory south Post by pex on Jun 29th, 2009, 4:17pm There's an older thread here (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=riddles_hard;action=display;num=1102090631), even with exactly the same wording... And basically it's just this riddle (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/riddles/easy.shtml#2gfParadox), discussed here (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=riddles_easy;action=display;num=1033456565). |
