Title: River crossing variant and word puzzle Post by Jeffo on Dec 21st, 2008, 12:25pm I'm in need of help for 2 riddles? I've racked my brains for 2 hours now and can only get half an answer. 1.Mum, Dad, and 2 children have come to a river, and they find a boat. It is small and can only carry one adult or 2 children at a time. Both children are good rowers, but how can the whole family reach the other side of the river? 2.What 2 English words can have 4 of their 5 letters removed and still retain their original pronunciation. I know one answer to this riddle and that is Queue but I'm unable to get the other one. Help me please!!!! |

Now the problem is how to return the boat to the owner. |

Title: Re: Help with 2 riddles Post by Roy on Dec 22nd, 2008, 9:28pm aitch, that's clever. Though I'm still not that big on new threads created in the general section just for help with a riddle that's almost definitely in the forum. |
