Hi there.

Does anyone have an idea what this might mean. A friend gave it to me with no additional info. I'm quoting verbatim, since I'm unsure if there might be intentional spelling mistakes, etc.

20 to the right
13 to the left
start at the begining
14 to the right
3rd from the end

TWENTY to the right -> Y
13 to the left
THIRTEEN to the left -> T
start at the begining
START at the begining -> S
14 to the right
FOURTEEN -> N
3rd from the end
END -> D

The solution: YTSND.

Don't be silly. The answer is obviously:

20 to the right: 20th letter = T.
13 to the left: 7th letter = G.
Start at the beginning, 14 to the right: 14th letter = N.
3rd from the end: X.

So it's TGNX! :D
