so i tried searching for this answer...on here and everywhere else and coudln't find it. I came across this puzzle along with other numerous match games and I couldn't figure this one out...a little help would settle my mind cuz its driving me crazy.

Take 9 matches out so that no square of any size (1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4) is left.

The grid is 4 squares by 4 squares ----- gonna try drawing it out for ya.

|_||_||_||_|
|_||_||_||_|

its not the best but you should get the idea. Now take out only 9 matches (lines) and end up with zero squares.

I think I solved it, but the site is not identifying it as solved, so maybe I'm just not seeing something.

yours has a 3 by 3 square at the bottom left
