Its been a bit of puzzle figuring out
a) where to post this one
b) if its been done before. :-/

Next in the sequences, please...

3, 6, 8, 7, 10, 10....
[hide] appologies to some[/hide]
8, 9, 9, 13, 14.....

Iran, Oman, Syria, Iceland, Bahrain...(could be a few here ;))

wowbagger, demark, even towr may be at a distinct disadvantage here. Maybe grimbal too.

And everyone. Noticed a flaw. Have revised the series... Man I feel SO stupid!

Compiled some posts- felt silly having a thread all to myself.
They're finite because you run out of [hide]tiles[/hide]
Use the countries as a clue to get the numbers.

Well, to atone for my sin of posting rubbish... here is more of the sequences.

3, 6, 8, 7, 10, 10, 8, 9, 4, 3, 9, 12, 11, 11.... fifteen will score more than eleven.

8, 9, 9, 13, 14, 15, 13, 13... Ninth not as good?

Countires were right all along. First country could have been Iran, not Iraq. Laos, not Mali.
Second: Oman or Mali or India, not Fiji Cuba or Malta
Third: Syria, Haiti, Gabon all okay. And so on.

Fire alarm! Bye!
