Hey this is my all-time favourite, although the version I heard was way more than just 4 questions. I suppose we:

But shouldn't we start with an elephant?

Syntactically, there is no indication that the refrigerator mentioned in the first question is the same one as in the second. Therefore we cannot assume that a giraffe needs to be removed. Removing a nonexistent giraffe before inserting the elephant is not necessary. Just put the elephant in.

This question tests your ability to hallucinate.

Syntatically, there's no indication of the size of either the fridge or the animals...so we have no idea if they're going to fit. In all likeliness, they're not going to fit.

Am I "overanalyzing" and "overcomplicating"? Maybe. But so are you people who are assuming that this fridge has a door that needs to be opened and closed...

While we're nitpicking, may I point out that the supposed answer to the first one is circular? It takes a one-step process (put the giraffe in the refridgerator), and "reduces" it to a three-step process, one of which is the original step: Open door, put giraffe in, close door. If we didn't know how to put the giraffe in before, how do we now? It's the official answer which is needlessly complicating the problem.

For the record, my answer to both parts one and two is "With a forklift".

You simply [hide]swim or wade across. All the crocodiles are at the animal conference.

All the Crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

According to Andersen Consulting, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong.
But many preschoolers got several correct answers. They say that this conclusively disproves the theory
that most professionals have the brains of a four-year-old.

(I wonder if Andersen learnt quickly from THEIR mistakes.)
