A kid enters the state carnival. He meets a guy that says "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper, I'll give you twenty dollars. But, if I get it wrong, I will give you twenty dollars!" The kid looks around and sees no measuring scale, so he accepts the offer, seeing as even if he gets it right or not, the kid can just lie about his weight.

In the end, the kid paid the guy twenty dollars. How did the guy win?

by writing a negative weight..
If the kid had a negative weight he would float up into the atmosphere..

Maybe the kid didn't understand the offer as I do, because I would have claimed the 20 dollars regardless of the answer.

Ya, the guy simply writes the phrase, "your exact weight" on the card, so he won it.

No, he didn't. Even so, he owes the $20, not the kid.

If, however, the wording of the riddle (and the guy) was a little more reasonable...

like the mol of stars question, the carny can write every number between 1 and 1,000 on the paper...
