It's interesting, but the article is a bit inconsistent with it's examples. Like how they say twice the character for 'person' means follow, then illustrate it with a real-world-usage example where it means "everybody". And how they say twice 'tree' means woods, and thrice means 'forest', and then they show a real-world-usage example where two means "forest".
Overall, I have my doubts it's really helpful.

Yes, you have valid points... I realized this once I had a detailed view on the article.

But, 1 thing I liked very much about this post is the idea to relate Chinese alphabets with the natural things around us. It really helps us in remembering and identifying characters that are quite tough :)
