What’s inside the box?

You are sitting in an armchair in your home, a bit frustrated because at the moment you’ve nothing to do. But then, you hear a doorbell; so you open the door. There is a closed box on your doormat. Somebody left it there. You shake the box only to conclude that it is empty. You take the box inside, and as you look at it, trying to figure out who left it there, you have an idea for a riddle. Without opening the box, name everything that could be considered to be inside. P.S. I can think of seven hopefully valid answers. How about you?

Here are some options: helium neon argon krypton xenon radon hydrogen nitrogen oxygen ozone fluorine chlorine hydrogen fluoride hydrogen chloride hydrogen bromide hydrogen iodide hydrogen cyanide hydrogen sulfide ammonia phosphine methane ethane ethylene acetylene propane butane carbon monoxide carbon dioxide nitric oxide nitrous oxide nitrogen dioxide sulfur dioxide Or any combination thereof. Any small amounts of powdered solid material would also be unnoticeable by shaking. Like a pinch of cocoa powder, or a pinch of flour. polystyrene or bubble wrap or other low density material would probably work as well. And if the box is inside out, then you might say (nearly) the whole universe is inside the box.

All that is very interesting. Even though I am undoubtedly spellbound, not at all what I had in mind. Although science can save us, and destroy us, perhaps more along the lines of Tolkien's riddles is what is needed here. If anything, if there is someone who can provide multitude of answers, it is evident who that is. That puts my seven ideas in perspective, eh?
