"A" could stand for anything from Aaron to Axel, but his surname, I'd guess, is Friend.

Yep. Towr wins. His surname will suffice. I got this from Disclosure, one fantastic film, if you know what I mean.
So, if you too like the mentioned film, perhaps it made quite an impact that we know his first name as well. Perhaps not.
