This riddle is the first work of a friend of mine.
I told him about these forums and he's interested in seeing what people think about this one.

I'm cold but warm(ing) <- added by raven
I'm living but not
I'm happy when played with
I'm sad when hot

Wow, that even works John... but this answer is colder than that! Not just cool with some warm decomposing parts.

You people are definitely better at this than I am... it took me two good days to wrap my brain around that answer.

BNC, that is the intended answer (the latter), I suggested modifying the answer to :: Frosty the Snowman :: specifically, because of the connotations of the last word (as revealed by cursor selection) in the first line and I feel some of the other parts work better with a specific historic example of the answer.

Good work!!  Wink
