I'm sure we all know what the answer is. The problem is that nobody knows what the question is.

A believe the question is: "One sentence is from this word." This is a bit puzzling. "One word is from this sentence." would be trivial: the answer is "missing". But reversing those two words makes it difficult to come up with an answer that is satisfying. Perhaps the answer is "mixed-up"?

This twenty one word sentence is easily changed from this meaningful statment to a six word nonsense riddle by removing words.

What one whacked sentence riddle is made from taking this question and removing every other word, every "and", and every "every"?

One sentence is made from this word. That word is attendance "At ten, dance!" In the declarative.

| BNC, if we remove in the order given, i.e. first every other word, then every "and", then every "every", Rezyk's idea works out. Speaker, I think that's an imperative, not a declarative. Anyway, using the assumption you made, it's a nice solution.

wowbagger, it is imperative, the imperative mood, but it is also a declarative sentence. Since the riddle called for a sentence, I did it that way. At least that was my intention, now maybe I am just trying to support my answer with some grammatical hoodoo. The more I look at this, the more imperative it becomes to agree with you.

| You're right - I just didn't get it back then. I would have put a dash between your word and the explanation and written the "In" in lowercase. At least I'd have gotten it immediately then.
