As a whole, I am both safe and secure. Behead me, and I become a place of meeting. Behead me again, and I am the partner of ready. Restore me, and I become the domain of beasts. What am I?

Put my head on my butt and I may be turned. Put my head on my butt again and I am most proficient. Now behead me and you can call me Lucky.

Hello maryl I have an answer for you. It almost fits, which is about what can be expected. My answer is hidden here Catchall. It works because you might feel safe and secure if you had one. Then again, this could be the answer for any riddle. It answers the second and third parts much better as hall and all (as in all ready) but again, I have a feeling that you are someplace else in the cosmos of conundrums. What ever those other guys are saying, I have no idea.

My father was this, my mother was too; but my crazy brother-well, he was screwed. At dinner we'd all just sit around, discussing the day and what went down. Cain had a brother everyone knew; but he didn't last long before he flew. He should have parked his horse in a place far away, he would have been safe from his brother's decay. What can I say, I tried.

Ok I nailed this one down, well stapled it But, I can't remember hearing it as a partner to ready, but admit that saying them together sounds familiar.
