I need help with this one:
White bird, featherless, flyin' out o' paradise, flyin' over sea and land, dyin' in my hand. What is it?
And this one please:
I've hole through which fingers peep, I clash my teeth, but do not weep. What am I?
Please help me!

First: There is a special forum for riddles like this: the What am I? forum. William will eventually get around to moving this thread there. You can save him additional trouble by posting any future riddles like this in that forum.
The first one is definitely a snowflake.
The best I have come up with for the second riddle is a zipper, but it doesn't seem to match the first phrase very well.

Yah. My first guess was snow but I'm hung up on the last one. I was thinking teeth on gears. Well Icarus it depends on what is in those teeth at the time..ouch!
