The sparkling wine (hard)

I really like this one for the elegance of the last line. Knowing a little about wine would help. The sparkling wine was bright and red; 'twas tempting, but, alas! Full well I knew my whole, unseen, was lurking in the glass. And when, with wily argument, they offered it to me, I said I would not drink, and what I one, two, three!

OK guys this one is really hard, but no one has even tried. Here are two hints. hint 1: how to solve this kind of problem "One", "Two", and "Three" refer to syllables, and "whole" refers to the whole final answer. An example riddle is: My first is dark; My second round: My whole may mark A hate profound. The answer is blackball. Black is dark, ball is round, blackball is what you do to exclude someone (like blacklisting them). hint 2:In reference to the last line of the riddle, It is the same as if I said, "A black hole is a one, two," in the example riddle. It would be read, "A black hole is a black ball. So, in the wine riddle, the last line has you saying each of the three syllables of the answer in order as seperate words to complete the sentence. Hope this helps. Oh, and the individual parts don't have to go into the whole letter for letter. For example, pen and sill could be the parts and pencil the whole.

Since I know nothing about wine, tell us, what's the sediment in red wine?

It is the residue that collects on the bottom of the bottle. You try to avoid pouring it into the glass.

Aeroguy, can you elucidate a bit? What makes up the sediment ? It sound sort of gross, for something you drink.

You'll only find sediment in wines that are fermented in the bottle, not the mass produced wines that are batched, filtered and then bottled.

It is not horrible. It just looks bad and doesn't feel all that great in your mouth if you aren't expecting it. No big thing, just a minor nuisance left over from the fermentation.
