A person who sleeps only four cycles (6 hours) will feel more rested than someone who has slept for 8 to 10 hours.

| Untrue, if you oversleep you feel horrible and get a headache, I think you are supposed to have two power sleeps of 4 hours a day the same way you charge a phone to give it a boost of power before the battery dies!

I have personally tried sleeping less but I need at least 10 hours or I am a mess. I do workout with heavy weights so maybe thats why. I wish I could get by on 6 hours. I could get so much more stuff done

I run off of 6 hours of sleep or less a day and workout 5 times a week. I feel fine and am progressing. But more sleep would help. That's one thing about sleep, the amount of sleep you should get depends on what you are trying to achieve and how you live while you are asleep.

Lack of sleep negatively impacts cognitive performance, I know that one for a fact.

Yes, I think it really helps. because every part of your body, every senses needs some rest and completing your sleep actually makes you feel more relaxed and smart. But, again overdoing it may bring lazyness

It is very important to go to sleep at 10pm. Because hours from 10pm to 12pm are most valuable. If you go to sleep at 10pm you will get up at six and will be rested. Just try it

The most important thing is the quality of sleep but not the length.

Sleeping for full hours doesn't help you. It will make your body restless. You will feel lazy all the day. This is all I have felt from my experience. Sleeping for 8 hours is a better option.
